What a fabulous Easter Long Weekend Getaway. Montreal has so much to offer for anyone who wants to visit. The culture, the historic old Montreal and the fashion and also the new upcoming growth that this beautiful city was to offer.
The adventure started with a road trip with my husband who lived in Montreal for 10 years and was super excited to go back and visit. We were going to fly or take the train but we thought it would be a blast to drive down the highway and take in the beautful spring views.
The drive was peaceful and I totally recommend driving if you are planning a trip to Montreal. Make sure you have a road trip music playlist all prepared so that you can dance and sing your heart out while taking in the beautiful scenery along the way.
We stayed at the fabulous Le Westin Montreal, which was located in Montreal’s historic district. The Hotel was the home of the Old Gazette Building which was a newspaper printer company. The hotel is stunning! and the location was perfect - right in Old Montreal. The hotel is walking distance to all the major attractions and places you in the centre of everything that Montreal has to offer.
The Notre Dame Basilica Church. The setting of Celine Dion's December 17, 1994 wedding to Rene Angelil and hosted the memorial service for Angelil on January 22, 2016 was absolutely stunning, beautiful and magical!
The food in Montreal is fantastic! We had a Brunch in Old Montreal at Chez Suzette Crepes & Fondues. The French Classic Crepes were so delicious!
We also ate at this beautiful, romantic setting restuarant Vieux Port Steakhouse for dinner. The atomsphere was fabulous, it felt like you were in a fairy tale plus the food was amazing!

Lastly the shopping! everyone knows you can't go on vacation and not do some shopping. I did some shopping at Feline in Old Montreal this store was so fabulous! It had a very funky, edgy and also a classic feel for Women and Men. I got some pieces from Local Montreal Designers which made me very excited, as I love supporting local designers.
Being Unique Is Always Fabulous!Matty
